“I put it on the prosecution”: Pierce Co. murder plea deal frustrates legal analyst

GUEST: attorney Anne Bremner examines the murder prosecution in Pierce Co. of defendant Joshua Ellis who is accused of killing a 25-year-old former girlfriend, Wendi Traynor, in her Milton apartment in 2017 but his 2nd degree murder conviction was thrown out on appeal over a reference by the prosecuting attorney to the O.J. Simpson trial during jury selection. Now, Bremner explains, instead of a new trial, the Pierce County Prosecutor's office is pursuing a plea deal with Ellis in the domestic violence murder.
