Scott Presler’s Electric Washington Tour: Crowds Surge to 700+, Voter ID Momentum Builds

Photo by Jim Walsh - Scott Presler's 10th (and final) event in 5 days in WA. Over 500 people gathered in Kent to talk about fixing what's broken in our beautiful state. Starting with the WA Voter ID Initiative. Before Presler arrived, we had less than half of the signatures we need to qualify the initiative. Now we have slightly more. And our numbers are growing fast. His visit has been exactly what we needed--an energizing jolt to our efforts. Requiring Proof of Citizenship when people register to vote in WA will restore trust in our elections. It will boost voter turnout. It will help heal many wounds. Ari Hoffman, Brandi Kruse, Turning Point USA and other people joined the crowd. The energy was amazing. Thanks to Neet Grewal and her extended family for hosting. And thanks to Presler kicking this project into high gear!
Scott Presler wrapped up a high-energy, five-day tour across Washington state, rallying thousands and putting real wind in the sails of the Voter ID initiative. What started with 150–200 people grew to over 700 packed into the final event — new faces, fresh enthusiasm, and a diverse crowd that surprised even longtime activists.
KVI’s Ari Hoffman talks with Washington State GOP Chairman Rep. Jim Walsh about the growing excitement, why the tour struck a nerve statewide, Presler’s promise to return, and the critical final push to gather signatures before the January 2 deadline.
The momentum is undeniable — and Washington Republicans are proving they’re ready to fight for election integrity.
