Joe and Rose Rodriguez taped this funnel cloud from their home in Monroe. It was just south of Monroe Wa maybe over Duvall.

When I was a kid, there weren't any changes in the weather and there was no severe weather. Every day it was a high of 72 degrees and we got exactly 5 inches of rain every month. And then the Hummer was invented and Monroe gets a funnel cloud.

Okay, more and more changes in the weather patterns. Can you say "climate change"? Whether you believe or not, you still gotta believe in weather.

It's kinda scary to think that a tornado almost struck our Monroe! I'm just 11, so I'm pretty young, but I love the weather and how it changes.
