Hikers Get New Trailhead at Perry Creek Trail

Hikers have a new trailhead for Perry Creek Trail #711, now located next to the Dickerman Trailhead along Mountain Loop Highway, 16 miles east of the Verlot Public Service Center and about one mile past the Perry Creek Road (Forest Service Road 4063). The new trailhead leads hikers just over a mile towards Perry Creek Falls and Mt. Forgotten Meadows with views of Big 4 Mountain. Construction expanded the parking lot, added a new toilet and a bulletin board.
