What a beautiful day in the Pacific Northwest. I'm working outside building a garage, when I picked up a piece of lumber that blocked the sun and that's when I noticed the Halo and Rainbow. I just felt like I should share it with everyone who hasn't seen it.
Sun - Halo and Rainbow.

Its a chemdog, and it is caused by chemtrails.

Nope, not sundogs. Those appear as two bright spots on either side of the sun along the halo's arc. Search 'sundogs' on google for some great examples.

I'm guessing that's a sundog? Does anyone know? Great picture!

This is the 22 degree halo formed by ice crystals in the sky. This is not a new phenomenon. Aristotle and Shakespeare both referenced the sight of atmospheric optics. The ice crystals do this naturally without any help from us.
