North of Raymond, Washington a Bald Eagle was busy flying between a pasture and a tall row of Pine trees.

I was standing on the street in front of Colman Dock one morning, and looked up to see a bald eagle. In downtown Seattle! Not a pigeon or seagull in sight. It flew off toward Discovery Park after a time and all the other birds came out of hiding.

Today near Overlake Hospital in Bellevue, we had three bald eagles circling (around noon). Then, on the way across the 520 Bridge, our usual sentinel bald eagle was sitting on his favorite lamp post, watching the canal for fish. A frequent pm sight.

I never stop getting goose bumps when I see this most beautiful of birds. What a fabulous symbol of what this country stands for.

John, in case you hadn't noticed, this is a post under pets and wildlife not political views. Great picture though.

When describing tax measure 67, it is gross negligence to omit that GROSS profits are taxed. You fail to mention that this is in addition to the 150.00. This will cost many jobs because most small businesses cannot survive with this burden.
