Dr. Stroud, a Multicare urgent care physician, had a dream. Her heart led her to be instrumental in opening a FREE urgent medical center for the uninsured in Auburn 2 year ago. The clinic is funded by donations only. All personnel work on a volunteer basis, including the doctors. The percentage of uninsured in King County is 16% of those18-64 years old. Dr. Stroud's vision is truly a blessing to Auburn.

This clinic has been a tremendous blessing to the un- and under-insured in our community. With the recession the need for the services has increased greatly. Dr. Stroud has filled a great need. Many lives have been touched by her vision.

Dr. Stroud's vision has filled a void in our community. With so many unisured people who would other wise not seek health care this clinic has allowed those that need care get it.

I can not tell you how important this service is. As a volunteer, I am touched by what the CCFC is doing to reach out in prayer and medical service to those in need. Working with the staff is like family. I used this service and now I am giving back.

Everyone working at CCFC unselfishly donates his time to give compassion and care to all who come through the doors. The patients receive quality medical care as well as access to other services, including translators. Julie Straub is an angel!
