It appears that one or rtwo boys wadded into the middle of the river and could not return to shore. Fire district water rescue teams rescued them and it appeared that a local resident assisted prior to that with a tether rope.

First of all, I was one of those boys. I really don't care if you believe me, but I still want to get your facts straight! Our parents let us swim in the river, and they were on close guard, as well. They were ABSOLUTELY not drinking.

Where were the parents of these two boys? They must have been drinking and being negligent! Major commercial trains go through that area and a waterfall near by! CPS should check the parents out!
