Seattle snowstorm white Christmas

It snowed off and on in the Seattle area during 2008 Christmas season. We actually got a white Christmas! It snowed exactly at midnight. It was beautiful! Christmas shopping came to a standstill, people were stuck at home and the malls were empty. We do not anticipate such snowstorms outside of the mountain area; therefore, we are not prepared to deal with the consequences. However, we managed to enjoy the snow and the view right outside our window.
