After the first major snowfall friday morning my husband, Jim, called me over to look out the back door to see this never before seen species that had roosted on our back porch. It looked like a bald eagle ,but then it had the shape of our resident scarecrow, Mr. Owl. So we snapped a few shots to get this event on the record books. We have a feeling Mr. Owl will be sporting his new look for some time as the weather is going to freeze frame that snow to his bald pate.
