This may look like the North Pole at 4:30 in the morning, but it is really a chocolate shop in Rochester, WA. Bob and Janet Connors, owners of Connors' Candy Cottage, are working like Santa's Elves 24 hours a day making chocolates.
We just had a new dusting of snow and the plows were out on Highway 12 cleaning it up. We were very pleased that they didn't leave huge piles of snow in front of our walkway.
Look how big the icicles have grown on the side of our shop. We wish this was really a Gingerbread house, each icicle would have a different flavor. Yum.

I've been here off-and-on since I was a little kid....a small, but intimate shop with both handmade and origional candies....oh, they're so great! =] I told my mom when I graduated highschool, I wanted a box of their chocolate's... worth the time!
