11/22/08 2 dead pit bulls had been dumped on the side of the road we live on, Dubuque in Snohomish. Obviously victims of dog fights. We called 911 the rude operator told us she wouldn't even notify Sheriff. Monroe Precinct of Sno Sheriff had answering machine on. The Herald Newspaper answering machine. Pasado's Safe Haven, answering machine, Humane Society, answering machine. Everett Animal Shelter said call Sno County Road Crew. Not one enforcement agency available to investigate this dog fighting crime/animal dump. We should just let it come into our neighborhood?

I spotted the 2 dead dogs on Sunday. I thought I'd check craigslist for missing pit bulls. Now I'm thinking it's got to be dog fighting. I've even seen 2 dead pit bulls along I-90 heading to Spokane.

That's horrible. Pits really are such sweet dogs and get such a bad rep. Horrible owners should be punished. Poor pups.

I think Pasados Safe Haven will only show up if there is a news crew there for publicity. That's the time they like to get involved.

If they (ha!) ever find who is responsible for killing these dogs, then the guilty people should be put in a pit with dogs to get mauled just about to death and then -- dumped along side the road. Maybe nobody would think they were important either!

That is aweful! Is there any new news regarding their pick up? This just makes me sick.

Pasado's Safe Haven does wonderful work and never turns away any animal in dire need. Their hands are full helping live animals, they can't do much for the dead ones.

We cant blame those not willing to help a dead dog. We can only blame those who would do such a horrific thing. It's very unfortunate that anyone would treat an animal or any living creature this way. It truely is a shameful act.
