The heavy rains caused the ceiling of an 11 year old's bedroom to cave in in the middle of the night, missing the sleeping child by just inches. Directly above her bedroom is the attic. Stored in the space directly over her bed are the heavy boxes of Christmas decorations. Fortunately, that area remained completely in tact and nothing hit the child. The remainder of the ceiling ended up on the floor. It was a scary experience, but the family is extremely fortunate that there were no injuries.
