18 eagles in a tree on our street

These 18 eagles were perched in this tree on our street in southwest Burien (Seahurst). I had to leave for an appointment right after I took these pictures, and shortly thereafter, my husband said 5 more landed for a total of 23! He said it was quite a spectacle to see all 23 take off simultaneously!

These birds were determined to be turkey buzzards. Common in Washington, but not in this neck of the woods! I believe they are more common towards the mountains.

I'm pretty sure those are crows. No white heads or tail feathers.
