dragonflies everywhere very rare, were lucky here in our tiny peninsula on the southwest washington coast to see one dragonfly and then this evening we had the oddest sunset the photo doesnt show to true ahhstruck but the sky was vibrant purple what the hell is going on!! and the dragonflies were flying thru all day. all i could think about is all the 2010 hype and how they talk about sworms of pests is a sign the end is near. i dont belive in that but it makes ya think!!

The dragon flys were in billions the day of the beautiful sunset there hard to catch a good photo when you got tons scatterd all over our lil spit here

I love that area of Hwy 105, North River landing and north thru Tokeland. Use to drive for FedEx out there every day back in 1987 to 1991. Saw some of the most amazing wildlife,and silence. Thanks for sharing. Am in Oc.Shres.wk aftr Labor Day wkend.
