A native Washingtonian, Tom Hutyler has been in the radio industry since his high school days in Spokane, starting as a senior at KJRB/790 in 1975.

From there he moved west to Seattle working at KJRB’s sister-station, KJR/950 for about a year and a half, before joining the founding members of KUBE/93.3FM in 1981. more >>

I started my broadcast career in 1990.
I love to tell people about how I started radio, because it is right out of the show from the 80’s, "WKRP in Cincinnati". My first radio station was a 1000 watt station that had the transmitter out back. We literally had to power down at night…and back up in the morning.

The people I worked with definitely filled out the cast of characters…from from the nail-filing receptionist to the sweet, but ‘distracted’ boss who didn't know that the production guy could be found passed out in the studio. more >>
