A special report with Carleen Johnson - Listen here 5:00 - Hillary kicked serious tail in W. Virginia yesterday, as expected. And not only did she win, but she literally "skunked" Obama -- winning every county in the state! Is it still over for Hillary or does she have a case to make with the powers that be in the Democratic party -- the case that she can win in blue-collar states like W. Virginia. Jennifer Kueper, FOX News campaign analyst, joins us from the Mountain State with the latest. 6:00 - Michael Leahy was addicted to sex and pornography but beat both and authored the book Porn Nation: Conquering America's Number One Addiction. Porn is a billion dollar industry that makes more yearly than the NFL, MLB and NBA combined -- and porn addiction is much more widespread than you might imagine. How widespread? Michael joins us to discuss. 6:15 - Would you like you very own environmentally-friendly, biodegradable John McCain tote bag emblazoned with the new McCain Recycle logo? Well now you can! Thanks to the "Go Green" web-page on the John McCain for President On-line Store at JohnMcCain.com. Can you believe this? What is he pulling? Is this an obvious pander to the greenies or a wily way of taking advantage of the rift in the Democratic party for the GOP's gain? Visit the site by clicking the link above and call in with your reaction! 7:00 - The five-year, 300 billion-dollar farm bill now before Congress is being criticized for diverting millions of dollars from international food aid to pay more subsidies to U.S. farmers. The bill includes less than one percent of its total cost for food relief abroad. At the same time, it keeps in place billions of dollars in subsidies to U.S. farmers that critics say hurt poor countries trying to produce their own food. Sallie James a policy analyst with Cato's Center for Trade Policy Studies and joins us to discuss the economic ramifications of this bill and what it means to the global food shortage. 7:15 - Unemployment is down in Washington State to a mere 4.7 percent and is 3.5-percent in the City of Seattle! And yet we're told the economy is in the toilet! If you've fallen under the spell of the media's biased report that we're headed for a recession, click here to read Thomas Sowell's piece on this matter. 7:30 - We're joined by our Hero of the Week, Major Sheffield F. Ford, US Army, recipient of the Silver Star. Don't miss his valorous story. 8:00 - Barry Goldwater Jr., former congressman and son of the famed conservative powerhouse, Senator and GOP Presidential Candidate, has partnered with author John Dean to compile a fantastic behind-the-scenes look at the life of Barry Goldwater Sr. Using before unseen personal writings and correspondence, the authors paint a wonderful portrait of the man and activist in Pure Goldwater. |
