5:00 -
Obama kicked Hillary's hind-end in North Carolina and Hillary pulled out a literal squeaker in Indiana. What does it all mean? Kirby will provide his expert insight and we'll be joined by Todd Starnes from FOX News with the latest from the ground in Indiana. 6:00 - What exactly happened yesterday in Indiana and North Carolina? Results from the two states' primaries weren't exactly what the two Democratic candidates or the pundits thought they'd be. So what gives and what does it mean to the race in-whole? Kirby knows. Plus we'll welcome Reid Wilson, associate editor at Real Clear Politics dot com, for more expert analysis. 6:30 - Some of our fellow Washingtonians are fighting to keep their little town green. The little town of Index, WA, has begun a campaign to raise money to buy the forested hillside outside their town, to keep it from being logged. Instead of suing or tying the process up endlessly in the political sphere, they decided to respect the right to private property and buy the land instead. What an novel idea! For more info and to help the Friends of Heybrook Ridge, click here. 7:00 - We'll award another of our Super Mom's with a GREAT prize pack! We'll award two more moms this week in the lead up to Mother's Day. If you would like to nominate a mom in your life, visit the KVI website by clicking here and clicking on Contest/Events. And all because we love moms at Kirby & Company! 7:30 - We'll be joined by our Hero of the Week, USMC 2nd Lieutenant Philip Palmer, recipient of the Army Commendation Medal with Valor. How did a Marine earn an Army Commendation Medal? Tune in and hear his valorous story! 8:00 - If your kids went on a school trip to a foreign country, would you allow them to drink under the supervision of their chaperons? Such was the case with students at Lake Crystal High School near Minneapolis, MN, when they visited Spain. Their teacher asked their parents for permission to allow them to imbibe on the trip but local police authorities aren't happy, saying early drinking can cause problems later in like. What say you? |
