One day an astute manager noticed that Ken Schram and John Carlson were arguing about anything and everything. Unfortunately it was usually happening in our lobby, and was annoying the daylights out of co-workers. So the manager moved them into the studio (it's soundproof from the OUTSIDE too!), but through some freak of technology it became a broadcast on KOMO 1000 News.

Soon, the duo moved to KVI (while continuing to provide some commentaries for both KOMO Radio and KOMO Television every day), and the station hasn't been the same since.

Ken may be best known in the region as a long-time host of Town Meeting, a long-running award-winning public affairs show on KOMO-TV. More recently he provides daily commentaries on issues for several KOMO Radio & TV newscasts. His history with radio is not unique to the Commentators' appearance on KVI, however; as Ken also hosted a midday talk program on KOMO 1000 in the mid 1990's.
