Texas A&M released the yearly study on traffic congestion in major cities in the U.S., Seattle came in 19th. We waste a mere 45 hours in our cars every year due to congestion. That's down from 57 hours wasted in 1995. Is traffic getting better? The listeners don't think so.

A teacher in Medford, Oregon is challenging the school districts policy on hand guns in school. The teacher has a restraining order against her ex-husband and lawfully has a carry-conceal permit. Schram says that the risks are too high and that guns should NEVER be allowed in schools. John and the callers brought up the events of Columbine and Virginia Tech and made the case that the teachers and students would have at least had a fighting chance if they could be armed at school.
