9:00-10:00 Immigration Profiling?

2 weeks ago, an 18 year old student in the Highline school district was stopped on her way to school by Immigration Enforcement. She could not produce a social security number and was detained by the feds. She now faces deportation. Latino groups are calling this a case of selective enforcement based on the color of her skin, ICE claims the were in the area doing an operation and the girl was in the wrong place at the wrong time.

10:00-11:00 Silver Tsunami

The Baby Boomers have officially begun collecting their Social Security. The 80 million boomers threaten to render the program insolvent. Schram says tough, not his generations problem. He paid into the system, and he's collecting the money. John says we need to run Social Security like a private pension fund and take advantage of compound interest.

11:00-Noon Watching the Watchmen.

A religious ministry from Latvia called Watchmen on the Walls will be holding a conference this weekend in Lynnwood. The group is being accused of being virulently anti-homosexual. Pastor Ken Hutcherson will be one of the keynote speakers and he joined us to explain who the group is and what they do. Schram feels that Hutch is being duped by a hate group.
