US Senate vote on border enforcement shapes direction of immigration reform bill

US Senators narrowly voted down a Republican amendment on the hotly contested “Gang of 8” immigration reform bill that would bolster the Republican backed plan for more border enforcement. John Carlson says the vote against the border enforcement amendment today will be a litmus test that will have repercussions in the 2014 mid-term elections and it will come back to haunt those who voted against it.
