The English Department professor, Troy Wolff, jumped in to stop an attack on a woman near Pioneer Square at 3rd St. and South Jackson above King St. Station after Friday night’s Sounders victory around 10:30pm. Wolff was stabbed in the neck by a 44 year-old man that police describe as mentally unbalanced. The stabbing suspect is due in court in Seattle today, Mon. Sept. 16.
