Nanny State in your kid’s Easter basket

Nanny State in your kid’s Easter basket
A Kinder Surprise halved, showing the plastic shell which contains the toy.

As we celebrate Easter, the Nanny State of America continues a ridiculous law dating back to 1938 that prohibits the sale of a nifty, inventive candy that is the chocolate egg equivalent of the long time favorite, Cracker Jack popcorn. Substitute host Kirby Wilbur and guest from Independent Women’s Forum discuss this absurd Prohibition of KinderEggs which are both popular and legal in Canada. If they weren’t illegal in the US, the KinderEggs would make a fabulous Easter surprise for your kids, but the Nanny State says they’re too dangerous for you to buy.
