Lion attack kills a Shoreline woman interning at California wild animal sanctuary

A rare African lion mauls to death a 24-year-old Shoreline woman, interning as an aspiring zoologist, at a Dunlap, California exotic cat sanctuary. Diana Hanson was alone inside the 350lb lion’s pen when the attack occurred. Sadly, her father says he feared that she might be attacked by one of the exotic cats while working with them. John Carlson plays the ABC News exclusive interview with the father and some stinging comments about the woman’s death by Columbus Zoo director emeritus, Jack Hannah.
