SEATTLE - More than $10,000 in heroin was found in the Green Lake neighborhood on Saturday, the Seattle Police Department said.

Officials said a neighbor noticed a car pull up to a planting strip on Thursday. A man got out of the car and searched nearby bushes, but left empty handed. A different car pulled up to the same planting strip on Saturday, and once again a man searched the shrubbery to no avail.

The neighbor who witnessed the scenes checked the area and spotted a bag hidden amongst the brambles.

Inside the bag was more than 113 grams of heroin valued at $10,000, Seattle Police said.

The heroin was turned over to Seattle Police. The Department did not release the address of where the bag was found.
