This summer which way will you vote? Hot dog? or hamburger? or both?  Cast your vote with Talk Radio 570 KVI at the King County GOP Annual Summer Picnic on Saturday, August 1st at the Velodrome Pavilion at Marymoor Park in Redmond from 11:00am-2:00pm.  Enjoy a barbeque, raffles, fun and more. Admission is just $5 per person or $25 per family at the door.  Meet with local Republican candidates and organizations and celebrate all that's "right" in Washington.  Check for all the details and to RSVP.

Wishes In Flight

 "Make Wishes Soar" with Talk Radio 570 KVI and the Wishes in Flight airline mileage drive! On Thursday, August 6th, tune into KOMO 4 News and KOMO News 1000AM/97.7FM from 6:00am to 7:00pm to donate unused frequent flier miles and Make-A-Wish Alaska and Washington will turn those into trips for children and families in need. Simply make a donation HERE or on August 6th, call 1-866-944-3838. On August 6th, Alaska Airlines will match, mile for mile, during the drive up to 850,000 miles. Base 2 Space

For the first time in the Space Needle's 53 year history, the public has the opportunity to climb the tower's 832 stairs as a part of Base 2 Space: Seattle's Most Iconic Climb. Open to runners and walkers over the age of 14, climbers will start at gound level and will ascend one of two open-air stairways, which provide 360° views all the way to the Observation Deck 520' above ground. Each climber will pay a $100 registration fee and must also raise a minimum of $250 in donations. Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center will receive 100% of all donations raised.
