Wishes In Flight
"Make Wishes Soar" with Talk Radio 570 KVI and the Wishes in Flight airline mileage drive! Northwest Auto Show
On Saturday, August 8th tune in to Talk Radio 570 KVI from 6:00am to 8:00am for Tom Turner's Northwest Auto Show, as he broadcasts live from Pacific Raceways in Kent. Before the track even opens to the public for the day, Tom will be broadcasting from the control tower at Pacific Raceways, home of the fastest quarter-mile in the Northwest. Pacific Raceways in Kent - the place to race - pulls out all the stops for the NHRA Northwest Nationals on August 7th-9th. Base 2 Space
For the first time in the Space Needle's 53 year history, the public has the opportunity to climb the tower's 832 stairs as a part of Base 2 Space: Seattle's Most Iconic Climb. Open to runners and walkers over the age of 14, climbers will start at gound level and will ascend one of two open-air stairways, which provide 360° views all the way to the Observation Deck 520' above ground. Each climber will pay a $100 registration fee and must also raise a minimum of $250 in donations. Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center will receive 100% of all donations raised.
